To provide reliable mobile service, Dry Pond Notary requires a non-refundable Priority Mobile Coordination & Booking Fee to secure your appointment. This fee covers our administrative costs, logistical planning, and the reservation of a dedicated time slot on our mobile calendar. Once paid, this fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the appointment is cancelled by the client.
We understand that emergencies happen, especially in hospital settings. You may reschedule your appointment one (1) time at no additional cost, provided you give at least four (4) hours notice prior to the scheduled meeting time. Rescheduling requests made with less than 4 hours notice may require a new booking fee.
North Carolina law requires a notary to verify the identity and willingness of the signer. If our notary arrives at the appointment and is unable to perform the notarization for any of the following reasons, the booking fee will be retained to cover travel and time:
In the unlikely event that Dry Pond Notary must cancel your appointment due to mechanical failure, illness, or emergency, we will offer you the choice of a priority reschedule or a 100% full refund of your booking fee.
Approved refunds are processed through our payment provider (Square) and typically appear back on your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
